Jim’s career led him to Prince George’s county where he worked as a special education teacher before leaving that position to work for the board of education as a Special Education Vocational Developmental Specialist. During this time he met and married his second wife, Carol Gentry.

When that relationship came to an end, Jim wed Ruth Ann Moore-Gentry. They were married in 2005 and called Lothian, Maryland their home.
