Albert Ernest Entzian, 86, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2020, at his residence in Dunkirk, MD. He was born on February 5, 1934, in Mitchellville, MD, to Alfred and Mary Entzian. Albert married Eleanor Austin of Severn, MD, in 1954. They recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. Albert leaves behind his wife, Eleanor Entzian; sons Gary and Donald Entzian; daughters-in-law Tami and Lynette Entzian; sisters Elaine Entzian, Alma Schultz and the late Hattie Maenner; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Albert worked as a Tobacco and Grain Farmer. He owned and operated Locust Lane Farms, Inc., which he retired from in 1994. He served on the Southern States Grain Board, director at the Southern States Store located in Upper Marlboro, MD, a member of the Maryland Farm Bureau, a long-time member of the Davidsonville Ruritan Club and served on the Soil Conservation Committee. Albert was an active member at the First Lutheran Church in Bowie, MD. Albert enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding around in his golf cart and loved spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his big heart, strength, humor and amazing smile. He will be dearly missed by his friends, family and all who knew him. A Viewing will be held at Lee Funeral Home Calvert, 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736 on Tuesday, June 16 from 1 pm until start of Funeral Services at 3 pm. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
