Aldina Vincelli

Aldina Vincelli of Prince Frederick, Maryland, succumbed to her battle with colon cancer on August 30, 2010 at the age of 78.\n \nShe was born Aldina Bofrone in Casacalenda, Italy on February 2, 1932. In 1949, Aldina immigrated to the United States and lived in and around the Washington, DC area. Returning to Italy in 1953, she married Giuseppe Vincelli, who passed away in April 22, 1962.\n \nHer Catholic faith sustained her through her difficult times. It also brought her many joyful moments and events.\n \nAldina is survived by her daughters, Maria and her husband, Stephen Buscher of Huntingtown, Maryland and Elena and her husband, Francesco Consoli of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She was a devoted Grandmother, or Nonna, to Stephanie Buscher and her partner, Shanna Moreland and daughter Emmalee, Lena and her husband, Jason Shank and their son Adam, Monica Consoli and Domenic Consoli. Her only brother, Benito Bofrone resides in Italy.\n \nAldina worked for the Prince George’s County Public Schools system in the food services division, where she retired in 1989. After her retirement, she spent her days taking care of her family, baking and cooking traditional Italian meals. She loved watching “Days of Our Lives” and working word search puzzles.\n \nFamily invite friends to LEE FUNERAL HOME, CALVERT, P.A., 8125 Southern Maryland Blvd., Owings, MD 20736 (Rt. 4 and Fowler Rd.) on Friday, September 3, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Christian Burial service will be held Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Ft.
