Alek Michael Richardson

It is with profound sadness that the family of Alek Michael Richardson announce his passing on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at the age of 2o years. He is survived by his parents, Dale and Jamie Richardson, his brother Reis and sister Dara, all of Huntingtown, MD. Alek’s girlfriend Emily Kohnke also holds a special place in his heart.

Alek was born on June 19, 2002, in Annapolis, MD and graduated from Huntingtown High School in 2020. While pursuing his career path as an Electrician, he most recently worked as an apprentice with K&H Electric in Chesapeake Beach, MD.

He was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, and cousin who lived his life to the fullest! His hobbies were soccer, skateboarding, fishing, and anything on the water as well as spending time with his family. His life will leave a mark on our hearts that words cannot erase.

The family will receive friends at Lee Funeral Home Calvert, 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736 on Thursday, June 22, 2023, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 6:00 - 8:00 pm where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023, at 1:00 pm. Interment immediately following at Southern Memorial Gardens, 10155 Ward Rd, Dunkirk, MD 20754.
