Alfred "Buddy" L. Cator

Alfred L. Cator, age 90, of Upper Marlboro, MD. He passed away peacefully after a brief illness July 4, 2012 at Mandrin Hospice of the Chesapeake Harwood, MD surrounded by loved ones. Born December 12, 1921 in Washington, DC to Ruth Wood Cator Talley and Edward Cator. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years Jeraldine H. Cator; two sons, Gerald (Bonnie) Hardy and Larry (Wendy) Cator; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his mother; father; brother Edward and daughter Corrine Thompson Martein. Family and friends will be received at Forest Memorial UMC Forestville, MD on Monday, July 9 from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery Suitland, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Forest Memorial UMC Memorial Fund 3111 Forestville Rd.
