Alice Martha Nelson Smolinski

Alice Martha Nelson Smolinski (Age 96)\n \n \n \n \n \nOn Saturday, February 18, 2012 at her home in St. Leonard, MD. Alice was born on May 4, 1915. She passed away peacefully with family members by her side. She was a longtime resident of Camp Springs, MD, and was predeceased byher husband Edward in 1989.She is survived by three sons, Donald (Mary), Thomas (Francisca) and Robert (Ann); five grandchildren, 14 great- grandchildren and one great- great-grandchild.\n \nA lifelong Lutheran born in Escanaba, MI, she moved with family to Washington, DC during the Great Depression. Married in 1936, raised three sons and later had a career with the Navy Department. She was a great lover of dogs and other animals.
