Allen Eric Iceson, 65, of White Plains, MD passed away October 21, 2023.
Allen was known by some as Eric but by many as ICE. Allen was born May 8, 1958 in Harlem hospital. His parents were William and Isabelle Iceson. He grew up on 164th street in Washington Heights and worked for the Law firm Paul Weiss, Warton, Garrison and Rifkin. Eric served 20 years in the United States Air Force. He was stationed at Altus AFB in Oklahoma, then Okinawa Japan. After those tours he served on Joint Base Andrews where worked aircraft maintenance for Special Air Missions. During that time he flew with the Vice President of the United States, the First Lady and other dignitaries. After retirement from the Air Force, Eric attended the College of Southern Maryland where he earned a certification in Computer Science. He then went on to work for Boeing until he retired. Eric enjoyed his retirement by spending time with family and friends, and driving his little red corvette.
Eric is survived by his fiancée, Kawana Campbell, and siblings, Suzanne Iceson, Grant Iceson, and Janice Roberts. Also, daughters Krystl Peters her husband Danny and their children Lily and Danny Jr., his daughter Stefanie Foster her husband Travis and their son Charles. Eric also left behind a host of nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
A visitation will be held 10:00am-12:00pm Monday, October 30, 2023 at Lee Funeral Home, 6633 Old Alexandria Ferry Rd. Clinton, MD 20735, where a funeral service will follow at 12:00pm. Interment in Maryland Veterans Cemetery will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fisher House Foundation.
