Allie Murl York

Allie Murl York, 98, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2025. She was born April 24, 1926 (or April 22nd depending on who’s asking) in Kentucky and lived in Virginia before settling in Maryland where she lived the remainder of her life with her son Jeffrey. She is survived by her four beloved sons: Bill York, Bob York, Jeffrey York, and Greg York. She was a grandmother to ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandson. She most enjoyed spoiling and spending time with her many grandchildren. She was most proud of still having all of her own teeth and raising her four amazing boys. We will remember most that she was smart as a whip and was a fighter. She will be missed dearly, and we will never forget the love she brought into our lives.
