Alton "Freddie" Cheseldine

Alton “Freddie” Cheseldine, 87, passed away on June 14, 2016. Born and raised on St. Catherine’s Island on the Potomac River on October 6, 1928 to Alton and Ida Cheseldine. He graduated from Charlotte Hall Military Academy in 1946 and was a veteran of the the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Afterwards he worked for Acacia Mutual Life Insurance for 41 years. He leaves to cherish his memory: daughters Linda Glenn (Timothy) and Patricia Johnson (Marco); grandchildren Sommer Bulka (Peter), Lisa Murry, Ashley Johnson, and Ava Johnson; and great-grandchildren Saige Bulka and Avery Bartnick. Freddie is predeceased by his loving wife Carol Jean Cheseldine, parents, and sisters Dorothy Sweeney and Eileen McDonald.
