Dolores “Dee” Burton, born Amelia Dolores Rogers, of Schenectady, NY went home to be with the Lord on June 14, 2016 at 6:09 p.m. with her family by her side. Dolores was born October 21, 1932 to Carman Ruggiero and Christina Di Cicco. The youngest of five children, she was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Dolores is survived by five children: Richard Eshelman, Curtis Eshelman and Dawn Banda, Lynne Downs and husband Donald, Lori Flemens and husband Kevin and her youngest Lisa Brown; twelve grandchildren: Krysten Sneade and husband Richard, Justin Eshelman and wife Kristin, Andrew Mona II and wife Holly, Devyn Catterton, Chase Eshelman, Lindsey Eshelman, Douglas Brown, Mason Brown, DeAnne Catterton, Patrick Brown, Gillian Eshelman, and Dominic Downs; three great grandchildren: Lillian Hemmer Mona, Grayson Thomas, and Andrew Mona III. She also left behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Dee worked as a special functions banquet waitress for the United States Senate for over 35 years, which was one of her many passions in life. Her other passions included traveling and being with her family. Dolores touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all.
