Angela Rosalie Knepp, age 81, previously of Huntingtown, Maryland and Clinton, Maryland passed away peacefully, with her daughters by her side, at her home in Huntingtown on May 1, 2024. Angela was born Angela Rosalie Petralia on March 29, 1943, in Lawrence, Massachusetts. She was employed for 25 years by the United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) Local 400 and retired from UFCW in 2001.
Angela was a member of St. Nicholas Lutheran Church in Huntingtown, Maryland. She was a kind soul who touched the lives of many. Angela was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who enjoyed spending time with her family and large circles of friends. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her daughters Julie Waxham (Jon), Justine Novy (Mike) and Dawn Parrish (Wes) and son Christopher Knepp, along with 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and her brother S. John Petralia (Carol) of Lusby, Maryland.
Angela was predeceased by her beloved husband of 39 years Donald Knepp, her sons John Frederick Kerby, John French Kerby and Mark Knepp, as well as her parents Albert and Mary (Rumore) Petralia, and her brothers Albert Petralia, Jr., Anthony Petralia and Kenneth Petralia.
The family will receive friends at Lee Funeral Home Calvert, 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736 on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm where a Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be private.
