Angelina "Angie" P. Souza

Angelina "Angie" Souza, born on December 1st, 1921 in Fall River, Massachusetts Left her living loved ones on Saturday August 4th, 2018. She leaves her sons, Robert Freitas - wife Allison, and son Kenneth Souza, her grandchildren Sarah, Brad, Steven Freitas along with their families, and great grandson Joseph Thomas Freitas. She also leaves her last surviving Sister Edith Medeiros and family. Angie was a devoted mother and Vavo. In her younger years she worked very hard in the factories of Fall River before becoming a mother to her two sons. As families grew so did the love she had for her three precious grandchildren, who were her heart and soul. She enjoyed playing Bingo, baking, and making her famous Malasadas Portuguese doughnuts, as well spending time with the ones that she loved. She was predeceased by Leonard Freitas, Francis Souza, and her Daughter-in-law Catherine Freitas who she will now rest eternally. She leaves behind many loved ones, family and friends and will go meet her parents, brothers, sister and all of the family and friends that have gone before her to be with the Lord. She was a devoted Catholic and a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Clinton Maryland. Family and friends may gather to remember Angie on August 10, 2018 from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM at Lee Funeral Home, 6633 Old Alexandria Ferry Road, Clinton, Maryland 20735. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on August 11, 2018 at 11AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 8908 Old Branch Avenue, Clinton, Maryland 20735. Entombment will be held at 12:15PM on Monday August 13, 2018 at Resurrection Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Road, Clinton, Maryland 20735 In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in, memory of Angie, be made to the Clinton Volunteer Fire Department, 9025 Woodyard Road Clinton Maryland 20735.
