Ann H. Thompson

Ann H. Thompson was born on June 8, 1922 to Howard and Mary Haynes of Kansas City, Missouri. Passed away on Oct. 15, 2012. Ann lived in Green Meadows, MD for 61 years before moving to Prince Frederick, MD four years ago. She is the beloved wife of 68 years to Arthur L. Thompson. Loving mother of Mary Lillian Millsback, Kathleen “Cookie” Enfield, Sr. Miriam Ann (PBVM) Tricia, Joan E. Myers, David R. Thompson, Stephen L. Thompson, the late Robert E. and Daniel J. Thompson. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Ann retired from Catholic Charities but, still enjoyed volunteering at church. She also gave her time to the community by volunteering at P.G. Mental Health Center. Her past times included sewing, crocheting and writing. She was a member of “Artful Dodgers” art club at Calvert Pines. Friends will be received on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Lee Funeral Home Calvert, P.A., 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD. Mass of Christian burial will be offered on Friday, Oct. 19, 2012 at 11:00am in St. John Vianny Catholic Church in Prince Frederick, MD. Interment following in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Washington, DC.
