Anna Bonaccorsy Curtin 92, a native of Newark, NJ, passed away peacefully at her home August 14, 2018 in King George, VA surrounded by family and friends. Anna was a retired WMATA payroll specialist and instrumental in the transition of the January 1973 buyout of DC Transit. A lifelong member of The Sisters of the Sodality and Legion of Mary, Anna was recognized by Pope John Paul II for her lifelong devotion to the Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by 4 sons; Leonard Palmisano of Colonial Beach, VA., Daniel Palmisano of Springfield, VA., Ralph Palmisano of King George, VA., Joseph Bonaccorsy and wife Angela of Waldorf, MD. Anna is also survived by 4 grandchildren; Phillip and wife Sandi Palmisano of Martinsburg, VA., Joya and husband Jody Zarka of Wilson, North Carolina, Nicholas and Anthony Bonaccorsy of Waldorf MD; 4 great grandchildren; Zoey and Jonah Zarka, Emily and Grayson Palmisano.
