Anna Ruth Russ

Anna Russ of North Beach, MD passed on February 3, 2025, at age 83. Born on March 15, 1941, in Kentucky to Archie Moore and Myrtle Hylton. 

Anna was raised in Dehue, W. VA, by her mother Myrtle and stepfather, William Easterling, along with other family members, Everette Conway and Linda “Tink” Music. She attended and graduated from Dehue Elementary and Logan Jr. and Sr. High Schools. After graduating, Anna left for Washington, DC along with some friends to work as an operator for C & P Telephone Company. She later married Thomas “Buddy” Zevely.

Anna is survived by her loving son, Michael Zevely and his wife Mary and two grandchildren, Anthony and Kristin.
