Anna “Foofie” Walker passed into eternal rest on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at Home Away from Home Assisted Living Facility in Upper Marlboro, MD at 92 years old. Anna was born in Greenport, Long Island, New York on February 21, 1928, to the late Benigno DeJesus and Iolanthe (Sells) DeJesus. Anna excelled in her high school business classes and was selected to work at the Pentagon. Shortly after graduating from Greenport High School, Anna moved to Washington, DC to begin her employment within the Federal Government. She met and married Milburn Walker, Sr. on November 2, 1946. Anna worked for the Department of Commerce for over 30 years, before retiring in 1985. Anna was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a very caring and loving person. “To know her was to love her”. She gave unconditional love to all. She was quick and witty. She always kept up with world events. Her favorite pastimes were watching CNN, completing word find puzzles and spending time with loved ones. Anna is preceded in death by her husband, Milburn Walker Sr (May 19, 2020), youngest son, Paul Walker, three brothers: Benigno Jr, Glenwood and Carlos DeJesus; five sisters: Mercedes Alvarez, Florentina Clark, Dolores DeJesus, Teresa Artis and Maria Piggery. She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Milburn Walker Jr, Linda Hamilton, Craig Walker and Paula Walker. She is also survived by seven grandchildren: David Hamilton, Milinda Turner (Michael), Gustav Hamilton Jr (Kim), Meca Walker, Anthony Miller, Andre Miller and Latrice Miller; seven great-grandchildren: Anthony (Nadia), Michael II, Tirece, Talonte, David Jr, Daelyn and Jaylen; eight great-great grandchildren: Shania, Zoe, Ahmad, Treasure, Alonzo, Temani, Talaiya and Adonis; two sisters: Iolanthe Mason, and Rosita Siklos; one brother, Ramon DeJesus and a host of family and friends. https://www.fundafamily.com/Family.aspx?ID=628
