Annie Ruth Porter\nOn October 11, 2010 after a long illness. The beloved wife of the late Frank Porter. Devoted mother of Joyce Risso, Mike Watkins and Charlotte Moreland. Loving step-mother of James Porter and Dawne Gregory. Also survived by 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. \nAnnie was a Prince George’s County school crossing guard for 38 years before retiring to her home in the Shenandoah Mountains. \nFamily and friends will be received at Lee Funeral Home, Inc. Branch Ave. and Coventry Way on Monday, October 18 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. where services will be held on Tuesday, October 19 at 11:30 a.m. Interment at Arlington National Cemetery will be held on Tuesday, November 16 at 1:30 p.m. \nIn lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Annie’s memory to the Shenandoah Baptist Church 5852 Howelville Rd.
