Artie was born on June 24, 1932 in Washington, DC to the late Arthur Emil Fleig, Sr. and Dorothea Pauline (Taylor) Fleig.He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Deborrah Fleig; beloved daughter Kim, her husband Danny, daughter Terry and her husband Ray and son Dwight and his wife Christina; sisters Anna, Jeanette, Mary, Pauline, twin brother Jack, sister-in-law Gail; brothers-in-law Bud and Raymond, a wealth of nieces and nephews, 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his sisters Betsy and Dorothy and brothers-in-law Bill, Robert and Garry.Artie followed his twin brother, Jack, into the Air Force in 1950. He retired as a distinguished serviceman with D.C. Air National Guard after 42 years of service to his country.Artie was passionate about gardening, baseball, fighter planes, and tractor rides and squirt guns with his grandchildren. He had an everlasting sense of humor and laid-back attitude.
