Ashley Nicole Swindell (Logan), 34, of Dunkirk, Maryland, suddenly passed on March 2, 2021. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Greg Logan, her grandfather, Greg Robert Logan, her grandmother Barbara Jean Logan, and her Uncle William Dan Logan. Ashley is survived by her children, Kaleb (Keith O’Dell), Mackenzie, and Charleigh (Willie Swindell, III), her parents Joyce and Sam Alexander, siblings Sammy Alexander and Carmen Alexander, her grandmother Martha Johnson, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews. Ashley was born on September 2, 1986 to Joyce Alexander and Robert Logan in Clinton, MD. She graduated from Northern High School in 2004, and continued her education at Graham Webb Academy where she obtained her beauticians license. Ashley was driven by all forms of beauty. She was an artist in many forms, whether it was on a canvas, a human body, or through the heart of her children. Ashley was a devoted mother, a loving daughter, a compassionate sister, and an exceptional friend. Ashley was committed to her faith, and wanted to spread God's word and happiness to all. Ashley enjoyed singing, dancing, spending time with her family at the beach, and anything involving a good time. She always had a radiant smile on her face that could light up any room she walked into. We are all filled with memories of Ashley, and she will be greatly missed by all. A viewing will be held at Emmanuel Church 3800 Old Town Road, Huntingtown, MD 20639 from 10-12 pm on Thursday, March 11 followed by a service at 12:00 pm. INTERMENT IS PRIVATE. Donations and Flowers will be accepted at Emmanuel Church. In lieu of flowers, Ashley’s family humbly requests donations be made to “The Trust for the Children of Ashley Logan” to support the future education needs of Kaleb, Mackenzie, and Charleigh.
