Barbara Jean LaCombe

Barbara Jean LaCombe passed suddenly at the age of 58. Born into a Military family to Charles (deceased) and Stella Gandy, Barbara was born in Japan. After moving around with her six brothers and sisters, the family settled into Maryland near Andrews Air Force Base. She started her long career with Prince George's County in the Police Department Teletype division as a civilian. From there, Barbara was involved in some departments and settled into Human Resources. Within Human Resources, she was highly dependable and her Directors were lucky to have her. She was hard working and dedicated to the job. She loved to travel, go camping, socialize eating crabs, playing the slots, game nights with her husband and spending quality time with her son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter. In addition to her parents, Barbara is the loving wife to Eldon J. LaCombe, devoted mother to Bobby J. Blevins III, grandmother to Julianne M.Blevins, Mother-in-Law to Katelyn O. Blevins, and devoted sister to Janet Mussante, Delores Gandy, Charles Gandy, James Gandy, Robert Gandy and Steven Gandy (deceased). She is also survived by loving family and friends.
