Barbara "Ann" LaPre

Barbara "Ann" LaPre, age 53 of Owings, MD passed away unexpectedly on October 25, 2019 at her home. She was born on October 28, 1965 in Washington, DC to Jerry O. Wines and Barbara M. Windsor. She is also predeceased by her stepfather, Raymond Jerome. Ann was a 1983 graduate of Thomas Stone High School in Waldorf, MD and obtained an Associates Degree from the University of Maryland. She worked as an analyst for the Office of Naval Intelligence in Suitland, MD, for over 30 years. She was a true Maryland girl when it came to seafood. She loved steamed blue crabs, oysters and rockfish. She was an avid fan of the Washington Capitals. Ann was especially fond of her pets, the beach, sun, Bingo and Pull-Off tickets. Most of all she was an incredibly proud mother of her son, Jason. Ann is survived by her son, Jason O. LaPre: sister Doris Crispell and her husband, Craig; and her friend and ex-husband Wes LaPre.
