Barbara Theesen

Barbara Ellen Theesen 85, of Temple Hills, Maryland passed away on July 8, 2023.
Born on July 28, 1937, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Fred Cinkler Usmiller
and Myrtle Viola Callahan Ushmiller.
Barbara was blessed with 3 wonderful children. She was an incredible woman who loved her family and
friends very much. She will live on through the priceless memories she made with them.
Barbara is survived by her children: James Baucom (Deborah) of California, MD, Clifton Baucom of
Dallas, NC and Michael Baucom (Kristin) of La Plata, MD, her siblings Fredrick Usmiller (Sylvia) and
William Usmiller (Gloria); as well as 8 grandchildren, Nichole, Brandon, Dena, Rachel, Brooke, Joshua,
Samantha and Cole and 12 great grandchildren, Ayden, Makenna, Zachary, Nathan, Evan, Blake,
Dominic, Colton, Ryan, Briella, Lincoln and Aurora. She is also survived by her faithful companion Jack
Crowley.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, husband Doyle Theesen and her brother Melvin.
Family will receive friends for a Life Celebration Memorial Gathering on Friday, July 21, 2023, from 10:00
a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Lee’s Funeral Home in Clinton Maryland. Interment will be private.
