Barbara Ann Whittington1934 - 2014 Barbara Ann Whittington, 79, of Maysville, WV, formerly of Upper Marlboro, MD on Saturday March 1, 2014 at her residence. Born in Washington, DC she was a daughter of the late Leonard Moses Sr. and Anna Frances (America) Speaks. She was married to the late James K. Whittington who preceded her in death in June 2009.She is survived by her son David Whittington (Sue) of Maysville, WV, grandaughter Stephanie Hoye of Grasonville, MD, two great grandsons, James Hoye Jr. and David Hoye, three brothers, Leonard "Buzzie" Speaks Jr. (Mary) of Silver Springs, MD, Alfred Speaks (Sherri) of Millsboro, DE, and Joseph Speaks (Carol) of Whiteland, IN, three sisters, Kathryn Parker (Charlie) of Waldorf, MD, Mary Speaks of Bridgwater, VA, and Nancy Speaks of Upper Marlboro, MD, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her faithful bird, Bo.
