Betsy Anne Witucki, 83, of Temple Hills, MD, passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning November 15. Betsy, also known to many as Busia or Boo, was born to Mary Eloise Robinson nee Bennett and William Henry Black, on August 29, 1933. She was a native Washingtonian and graduated from Anacostia High School. She married her late husband, former Washington Redskin offensive guard, Casimir “Slug” Witucki in February 1954. Betsy was active in the community and had a long distinguished career in the federal government as a financial analyst with several agencies including Health and Human Services, Department of Navy, and Treasury Department. In her private time she loved to escape to her beach house in Ocean City, MD and spent time there year round. Her favorite time on the beach was after 4:00 pm, when most people were leaving, and she would settle in to read a good book. Betsy will best be remembered for her sense of humor and quick wit. She will be missed by all, but is now reunited with Slug and is dancing the Polka. Betsy and Slug are survived by their three children, Glenn Witucki, Bruce Witucki and Ruth “Sam” Miller and her husband Joe Miller; grandchildren Christina Goldzwig, Emily and Bradley Witucki, and Eliza and William Miller. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to: Hospice of the Chesapeake John & Cathy Belcher Campus 90 Ritchie Highway, Pasadena 21122 Or Prince Georges County Christmas in April 7815 Malcolm Road Suite 102 Clinton, MD 20735
