Bettie Marshall Wakenight (Taylor) On November 20, 2005, of North Beach MD, passed away peacefully. Beloved wife of the late James T. Wakenight, Sr. devoted mother of James T. (Tom) Wakenight, Jr., of Owings, MD., and Jean Marshall and her husband Wilton A. (Art) of Clinton, MD. Also surviving are her brother E. Murray Taylor of Orange City, FL, grandchildren Jeffrey T. Smith of Arlington, VA, Brian A. Smith and his wife Linda of Odenton, MD, Rebecca L. Wakenight of New York City; a great-granddaughter Samantha L. Smith of Odenton; a niece, Martha M. Taylor of Atlanta and a nephew, Charles M. Taylor of Atlanta, GA. Friends may call at Lee Funeral Home, Inc. Branch Ave and Coventry Way Clinton, MD on Monday, November 28 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Graveside services will be hled on Tuesday, November 29 at 11:00AM Cedar Hill Cemetery 4111 Pennsylvania Ave., Suitland, MD. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 11331 Amherst Ave. Silver Spring, MD 20902.
