Betty Mae Laing March\n \nBetty was born to James and Marie Laing in Washington, D.C on February 9, 1927. She passed away on January 24, 2012 in Scranton, PA at the age of 84. \n \nShe is survived by her friend and caregiver, Sharon Douglas of Huntingtown, MD. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph W. March and her two sons, James and Kevin March. \n \nBetty had a full life as wife and mother. Betty also was an American Red Cross Nurse during the war. Betty modeled for a period and worked at a beauty shop before becoming a receptionist at Lee Funeral Home in Clinton, MD. She was a parishioner at All Saints Episcopal Church in Sunderland for many years. Betty was a beautiful loving person who touched many lives especially at the nursing homes.
