Beverly Howcroft

Beverly Jean Howcroft, 86, of Waldorf, Maryland, passed peacefully on Monday, March 17, 2025.

She was born January 18, 1939, in Far Rockaway, New York, to the late Fay and Llewellyn Robertson.

Beverly was united in holy matrimony to the late Robert E. Bennett, with whom she shared two children, Paul Bennett (Lisa) and the late Jon Bennett.

After Robert’s passing in 1997, Beverly was remarried to James G. Howcroft, who passed June 24, 2018.

She was a proud and faithful member of Unity Presbyterian Church, the Eastern Star and the Surratt Society.

Beverly is survived by her son Paul Bennett, daughter-in-law Lisa Bennett, her grandchildren Nicholas Bennett (Nicole), Andrew Bennett (Jennifer), Matthew, Rachel, and Ryan Bennett, and two great grandchildren Ellanor and Lila. Family and friends are welcome to gather at Lee Funeral Home, Inc., Clinton, MD, Sunday, March 30, from 1pm with prayer services beginning at 3pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
