Bobbie Ray Hamlett

Bobbie Ray Hamlett, of Clinton, MD passed peacefully on February 14, 2017 at the age of 68. Born in Danville, VA to the late Gladys Hamlett and Raymond Milner. After high school, Bobbie moved to Washington, DC. He met Sandra Wilson and they married on July 27, 1968. In 1981 the family moved to Clinton, MD. Bobbie worked for the Washington Post as a mailer. He was active with the labor unions and retired after 25 years of service. In addition to his family, Bobbie enjoyed building picnic tables. Beloved husband of Sandra Wilson Hamlett; dear father of Stephon Strader, Jerome D. Wilson , Tenise Hamlett and step son Bryan Hoffman; loving brother of Janet McKenzie; grandfather of Jerome Donnell Wilson, Jr., Tervel Rollins Jr., Torin S. Rollins, Stephon Strader Jr., Xavier Strader, Tariq Strader, Jah Hoffman ; dear nephew of his Aunts, Millie Walton, Vernel Hamlett and Margaret Hamlett. In addition to his parents, Bobbie was predeceased by his grandchild, TaJheem Rollins, and his sister, Jean McKenzie.
