Bobby Ray Wilhite

Bobby Ray Wilhite, 84, of Forestville, MD passed away peacefully on December 26, 2014.Born on August 4, 1930 in Downsville, Louisiana to the late Clarice L. and James O. Wilhite.Bobby Ray enjoyed going back to his old homestead in Louisiana where he had a mobile home and loved to fish. He enjoyed working on cars, eating steamed crabs and fried fish. He honorably served his country in the US Navy and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 482.He is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret Wilhite; his loving children Sharon Powers of Dunkirk, MD, Debra Young of NJ, Robert Wilhite (Ginny) of Upper Marlboro, MD, and Tammy Worth (Mark) of Dunkirk, MD; his dear sister Sarah Bearden of Louisiana, Kay Carrero (Tony) of Louisiana and Eloise Beckham of Colorado; devoted grandfather of Casey Powers, Ryan Young, Nicole Young, Rachael Young, Jennifer Wilhite and Allison Worth; great-grandfather of Connor Powers, Kaitlyn Powers and Jase Young.For those desiring, contributions in memory may be directed the Forestville Volunteer Fire Department, 8321 Old Marlboro Pike, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772 To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Bobby Ray Wilhite please visit our Sympathy Store.
