Bonnita Jean Hopper

Bonnita Jean Hopper passed away on Aug. 27, 2024 at 7:16pm. Her final moments were spent peacefully in her son Joseph and Candace’s home in Chesapeake, VA, surrounded by family and close friends.

Known for her sharp mind, kindness, and love for animals, Bonnie will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Bonnie’s family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life, not the sadness of her passing. She is survived by husband Craig, son John, son Joseph and his wife Candace, and her grandchildren, Arianna, Kyle, Rory, and Lani.

The family will receive friends at Lee Funeral Home Calvert 8200 Jennifer Lane Owings, MD 20736 on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 10:00 - 11:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Jesus the Good Shepherd, 1601 West Mount Harmony Road, Owings, MD 20736 at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Southern Memorial Gardens Cemetery 10155 Ward Road, Dunkirk, MD 20754. Flowers and memorial gifts are welcome but not necessary.
