Boutamy Glasgow,76, of Suitland, MD, passed on May 1, 2015, surrounded by her family.Born in Sadec, Vietnam on November 18, 1938, she is the daughter of the late Ly Thi Hoa and Zearama Appolaire.Beloved wife of the late Roy W. Glasgow; devoted mother of Robert M. Glasgow and Roger W. Glasgow. Dear Sister of Djodimy Strong, Thu Van Townsend, Ho Beaudry, Celine Appolaire, Lilas Appolaire, Ganait Appolaire, Tirous Appolaire, Charlot Appolaire, Charles Appolaire, Saraud Appolaire, and Ferdinand Appolaire.Boutamy spoke fluent French and Vietnamese. She loved taking care of her family, attending prayer services at the Buddhist Congressional Church in Washington, DC, and cooking.She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.Interment will take place in Arlington National Cemetery at a date not yet determined.
