Cara was born on July 9, 1982 in Clinton, Maryland. She is the beloved daughter of Courtney Clow Dempsey of Swan Point, MD and Patrick Dempsey of Ocean City, MD. Loving sister of Ryan (Stephanie) Dempsey and Michael Dempsey. Devoted aunt to Andrew and Meghan Dempsey. Niece of Lora (Daniel) Lane, Gordon (Bernadette) Clow, Douglas (Sandy) Clow and the late Robert (Sandy) Clow. Dear friend to Jennifer Emerson and many others. Also survived by cousins Doug, Greg, Michael, Lori, and Bobby Clow, Kelly Jones, Brendan and Shannon Lane. Cara was an avid reader and enjoyed writing. Cara entered into rest on Dec. 31, 2011. Friends will be received on Friday, Jan. 6, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and also on Sat. Jan 7, 2012 from 11:00AM until time of service at Noon in Lee Funeral Home Calvert, P.A. 8200 Jennifer Lane (Route 4 and Fowler Rd) Owings, MD 20736.
