Carl Richard Andriani

Carl Richard Andriani, age 74 of Ocean City, Maryland formerly of Rockville, Maryland and New York City passed away Friday, September 23 2011 in Berlin, Maryland. He is the loving husband of 48 years of Lorraine Andriani and loving father of Drew Andriani, his wife Anja, Lance Andriani, his former wife Sarah, and Nicole Miranda and her husband Tony. Devoted grandfather to Lance Jr, Owen, Max and Eva.\nBorn in New York City to the late Michael and Angela Castoro Andriani, Mr Andriani moved to Rockville Maryland in 1969. He graduated from New York University with a Masters Degree in Physics and then went to work for Columbia University. He retired from the Department of the Navy as the Director of Under Sea Surveillance after 30 years of service. His hobbies included bicycling, engaging in philosophical discussions, traveling all around the world including an adventure that took him to the North Pole. He also enjoyed fishing but most of all he enjoyed being with his family, grandchildren and friends.\nArrangements are incomplete at this time.
