Carline G. Hough

Carline G. Hough, 94, died on January 9, 2022, at Sacred Heart Home in Hyattsville, MD. She was a former Upper Marlboro, MD, resident. Born Carline G. Schroder, in Sharpsburg, MD, on December 20, 1927. Carline was the daughter of Ronald and Mary Schroder. She is survived by two daughters and son in-laws Lynn (John) Lappin of Berwyn Heights, MD, and Janet (Tom) Montgomery of Fairfax Station, VA; five grandchildren; Brian Lappin (Hilary); Justin Lappin (Erin); Jonathan Lappin (Allyson); Kim Foerster (Justin); and Cheryl Montgomery; and nine great grandchildren; Colin, Ava, Finnegan, Harrison, Fredrick, Nathaniel and Charlotte Lappin; Mason and Brayden Foerster. Carline adored her grandchildren and was always so generous to each and every one of them; their smiles brightened her day!! Besides her tremendous love of family, she loved to read. She was always there whenever we needed her help or guidance. Preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Lee H. Hough in 2003; and four sisters, Juanita, Pat, Henrietta and Glenda. A graveside service will be held at Resurrection Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Rd. Clinton, MD 20735 on Friday, January 21, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. The family wishes to thank the staff of Sacred Heart Home for the wonderful care and love given to Carline during her later years of life.
