Carolyn Ann Hutcheson was born to the late Theressa Smith White, on February 22, 1939 in Rural Retreat, Virginia. She Departed this life on May 8, 2018 peacefully at her home with her husband, and her daughter, after years of chronic illness. Her husband remained by her side as her caregiver for 9 years. Carolyn and Earle were married for 56 years. Carolyn accepted Jesus as her LORD and Savior early in life at Fairview Baptist Church in Glade Springs, Virginia. Carolyn lived 20 years of her life as a military spouse with her husband Earle, and their three children, traveling throughout the world. Carolyn was preceded in death by her two loving sons, Darrell and Aaron Hutcheson, and her grandson, Christopher Ealey. She leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved Husband Earle Hutcheson, White Plains, Maryland, and her daughter Andrea D. Ealey, (Archbishop Johnluke Ealey) of Morningside, Maryland. Brothers: Calvin White (Deborah) of BenSalem, Pennsylvania. Charles White of Falls River, Massachusetts. Elder Carlton White (Barbara) of Clinton, Maryland. Sister: Charlotte Harris of Temple Hills, Maryland. Daughter-in-law Linda Boyer of Waldorf, Maryland Grandchildren: Kelley O. Pigford, Whitney A. Hutcheson, Aaron Hutcheson Jr., Stacy R. Ealey, Gabriel T. Ealey, and Sarah A. Ealey Great Grandchildren: Kamari Chambers, Keion Hutcheson, Ayden Young, Alaina Hutcheson Alonee Hutcheson, Amiya Phelps, Alayah Hutcheson and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. Carolyn has been a source of encouragement to all who knew her. Her acts of kindness, generosity, and love touched many. She was an example of what it means to love, not with mere words but with deeds. She exhibited a kind of sweet soft toughness that those close to her came to admire her and learn from her.
