It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Carter Alfred Bloom, age 4, on 1/23/2025. His bright smile, infectious laughter, and boundless energy brought joy to all who knew him. Carter was a loving son, brother, and friend, and he will forever be remembered for his playful spirit, curiosity, and the pure love he shared with everyone around him.
Carter was an adventurous 4-year-old. He was a kind soul that wanted to help everyone. He aways wanted to be a doctor, a police officer, a taxi driver, and a firefighter. He is leaving this world as a hero to others. Hearing your first breath in this world and being here for your last is something I will honor for the rest of my life. Carter was an amazing big brother to Milo, and I know you will be there for him. Carter was someone who loved to be the life of the party. You will be my forever baby boy!
I used to take this little guy off roading, fishing, and to work. He would always give the players their Band-Aids and his encouragement put me through school. He was my life, and I am proud of him to have granted someone else a chance at life. He always wanted to be a superhero (spiderman), and in my book, he made it.
He was an adventurous soul, full of love and joy, who loved to dance to One Direction, help people, and share his gentle spirit as a big brother, son, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. His infectious smile and kind heart touched everyone he met.
Carter is lovingly survived by his parents, Brittany and Zachary, and his younger brother, Milo. Carter Bloom touched the lives of many, and his memory will continue to bring warmth and light to all who loved him.
He is also survived by his grandparents, Ron and Michelle Damiano, and Renee Coleman and her husband, Josh Coleman; and great-grandparents, Celia Damiano, Jeannette Huot, and Linda and Ken Bloom.
Carter’s memory is cherished by his uncle, Austin Damiano; great-uncle, Miguel Pimentel; great-aunt, Lisa Pimentel; aunt, Sierra Bloom; and uncles, Marcus and Darren McGrady and Brenden Coleman. Carter is survived by many great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins. Carter’s presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Though his time with us was far too brief, Carter's love will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew him.
The family will receive friends at Lee Funeral Home Calvert, 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736 on Friday, January 31, 2025 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm where a Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, in his honor, we are establishing a foundation dedicated to supporting causes that reflect his passions. The foundation will focus on providing financial assistance for education, fostering a love for nature, and supporting those in need. Through this foundation, we aim to keep his spirit alive by helping others live with the same curiosity, joy, and generosity that he did.
