Casey Renee Towers

Casey Renee Towers\nCasey Renee Towers, 25 years old of Waldorf, MD died on October 13, 2011 at University of Maryland Medical Center. Born on October 21, 1985 in Ft. Walton Beach, FL. Daughter of Charles and Barbara Towers; sister of Charles Towers, II.; mother of Kaylee (6) and Kristopher (5). Casey was a heart transplant patient who received her donated heart on February 15, 2006 which was also her daughters first birthday. She survived many battles along the way and overcame many obstacles in the past 5 ½ years. Her donated heart came from Luke Abbate, 16 of Georgia. While fighting her battles, Casey attended and graduated from Centura College for Medical Assistance and College of Southern Maryland for Medical Billing and Coding. She was a loving mother and caring person. She loved playing pool, spending time with her kids and family, riding street bike and going to the beach. She had a passion for food and hot sauce especially. Viewing will be held at Lee Funeral Home Clinton, MD on Thursday, October 20 from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens Waldorf, MD.
