Charles "Chuck" C. Hesse Sr.

Charles "Chuck" Hesse, Sr., of Forestville, MD passed on August 23, 2018 at the age of 90. Born in Charleston, West VA the son of Ruby Irene Cokely Hesse and John Francis Hesse. At the age of 19, Chuck entered the 5th Marine Corp in Quantico, VA. After 5 years, he was honorably discharged as Corporal Charles C. Hesse. After his discharge, he entered into the Armed Forces National Guard. Chuck worked for many years as an Iron Worker and belonged to the Ironworkers Union 5 in Washington, DC. From an early age, Chuck was caring and loving man with a passion for motorcycles as well as his love for flowers. He loved all sports, especially the Washington Redskins. Chuck loved to watch "Dancing with the Stars" and when they filmed in Maryland, his daughters surprised him with tickets to attend. In addition, his biggest hobby was train collection. Beloved husband of the late Dolores Parker Hesse; devoted father of Robert Miller (Alice) of Colonial Beach, VA, Kathy Peterson (Dave) of Frederick, MD, Rebecca Ouellette (Fred) of Stafford, VA, Sharon Brascher (John) of Umatilla, FL, Donna Tippett (John) of Seabrook, MD, Patricia Willis of Lusby, MD and the late Chucky Hesse, Jr. Also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
