Charles "Chuck" Edward Kane

Charles Edward Kane (Chuck) passed on Dec 14, 2022, at age 85. He was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and a graduate of Pitt University where he majored in Engineering.  Shortly after graduating college, Chuck moved to the Washington DC/Maryland area where he began his career as a Petroleum Engineer with the Federal Power Commission now known as the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. He retired after 35 years of service. 

He married Helen Compton in 1962. They resided in Fort Washington, Maryland for over 55 years where they raised their three children Kevin, Robert, and Karen. Chuck was a loving son, husband, father, and grandfather. He cherished his time with family, grandkids, and friends and loved to share stories and laugh.  Chuck was a huge sports participant and fan, he loved gardening, reading his paper, fishing, and golfing.

Born in August of 1937, he is the son of the late Paul and Marie Kane, Brother to Dorothy Bodziony, and husband to the late Helen Kane. His loss is a profound sorrow for his children Kevin (Lisa), Robert (Cathy), Karen (Bill); his six grandchildren, Tori (Rodd) Warren, Nicole Cote, Lindsey Spies, Samantha Spies and Zachary Kane; and one great grandson Forrest Warren.
