Charles Anthony Diana (Joe), died on Thursday, November 19, 2020 surrounded by his family. Charles was born in Washington, DC he was the son of Joseph Diana and Paula Maria Diana Born. Charles was a 1968 graduate of Crossland High School. After graduating from high school Charles served in the US Army in 1968. Charles then became a member of the Silver Hill Fire Department at the age of 16 and has continued to be a part of the firehouse. Charles worked for Duron Paint for many years, then he later started his own security business (CDI Security). Charles had a passion for helping people. When he joined the Silver Hill Fire Department he became the President. In 1974 Charles met Diana Cranford. Charles and Diana married July 31, 1976, going on to have 3 children: Joseph Anthony Diana, Angela Maria Tressler, Crystal Maria Chanico. Charles enjoyed going to the Outer Banks, NC every year with his family, crabbing and fishing. His three favorite holidays were Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. He loved spending New Years Eve at his dad's home with his family. He loved summer cookouts with his family, sitting back and eating crabs. Charles loved nothing more than big family gatherings and spending his free time at the firehouse. He cherished his wife, Diana and lived as a shining example to his children: Joey, Angela, Crystal, and Steve. Charles Diana is survived by his wife, Diana May Diana, his children: Joseph Anthony Diana and his wife Brandy, Angela Maria Tressler and her husband Billy, and Crystal Maria Chancio and her husband Joseph Jr., his 18 grandchildren, Jeremy Eells, Jenna Eells, Natalie Eells, Cheyenne Diana, Ciara Diana, Branden Hamilton, Adrianna Diana, Joseph Diana Jr., Alessandra Diana, Tyler Gardiner, Alexis Gardiner, Jaiden Tressler, Michael Tressler (step grandson), Tyger Tressler (step grandson), Nicola Chancio, Karissa Chancio, Serina Chancio, and Joseph Chancio III and 1 great-granddaughter, Scarlett Rose Vannoy. As well as his sisters, Francine Edelen, Paula Sorrells (Bob), Donna Diana, Nina Diana (Bruce Lewis), and Gina DiMichele (Bobby) and many neices and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Association for Frontal Temporal Degeneration of Maryland Right of Life.
