Charles "Charlie" Smiroldo

Charles “Charlie” Smiroldo, 90, of Waldorf, MD passed away on Monday, March 15, 2021 at Prince Georges Hospital, Cheverly, MD. He was born on May 5, 1930 in Washington, D.C. to Onofrio and Carmela Smiroldo. Charlie and his twin Sammy were the 5th and 6th children born of that union. He was predeceased by his parents, sister Joanna Rosette and brothers; Joseph, Renald, James, Samuel (his twin) and William, brother-in-law; John Fleshman (Sara), sisters-in-law; Jennie (Joseph) and Dottie (Michael) Smiroldo and nephews; Kenneth Rosette, Jr., William Smiroldo, Jr. and Thomas Smiroldo. Charlie is survived by his sister Sara Fleshman of Dunkirk, MD and brother Michael of Roanoke, VA, brother-in-law Kenneth Rosette (Joanna), sisters-in-law; Mila (James), Pat (Samuel) and Pat (William) and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He is also survived by his second family, Angelo and Barbara Sparacino and their children and grandchildren who he lived with for many years. Charlie was blessed to have them in his life. Charlie was always fun to be around, he always kept us laughing. He will be missed. Due to Covid restrictions, a Graveside Service will be held at Resurrection Cemetery 8000 Woodyard Road, Clinton, MD 20735 on May 5, 2021 at 1:00 PM.
