Charles Stephanson

Charles Stephanson of Fort Washington, Maryland died peacefully on February 5, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Rose Stephanson, loving father of Mike (Jan), Kathy, Craig (Joy) and Jim (Janet) Stephanson, devoted grandfather of Kay Marie Stephanson, Anthony Everson, C J, Alex, Katie Rose and Audrey Rose Stephanson. Charlie is also survived by nephew, Gary (Susan) Adriani and many other loving family members.Charlie was born (July 1, 1924) and raised in Washington, DC. In the early 1930’s, as a young boy, Charlie and his twin brother Billy performed weekly on the popular DC radio show, The Cherry Blossom Hour, singing harmony to popular tunes. Charlie served his country in the Navy during World War II. He had a 30 year career as an accountant with various government agencies.
