Charlie Frank Davis

Charlie Frank Davis, 81, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2022. He was born on November 28, 1940, in Birmingham, AL. He attended and graduated from Rosedale High School in Homewood, AL. He is preceded in death by his mother and father Pearl and Izell Davis, siblings: Helen Todd, William Davis, George Davis, Tally Davis, and Lonnie Davis. Charlie was a very loveable and happy person. He was a faithful servant in the United States Air Force for 20 years, in which he retired with honors. Later employment was with United States Capitol Police. He retired from this service in 2000. He displayed his talents as a firearms specialist, martial artist, and with many other things. Charlie was a child of God and will be remembered for his beautiful personality, big heart, helpful hand, and smile. Charlie was a devoted Redskins and Alabama fan throughout the years. He leaves to cherish his memories two daughters Arselia Davis and Carla (Dominic) Graham. Grandkids Demetrius (Jasmine) Davis, De’Terium Davis, Darius (Chaquintia) Davis, Arcelia N Davis, Blossom Graham, Dominic Graham Jr. and Justin Graham. Great grandkids Areyuna Davis, Londyn Davis, Paisley Davis, Kaden Smith, Quin’ Darryn, Seymond Davis, ChiNyah Davis, and Ayden Davis. Longtime companion Vivian Oliphant. Along with a host of nieces and nephews. Charlie Frank was an active and proud Mason. Also, a proud Veteran and Retiree that participated in the local Retiree Associations while continuing to mentor those who were coming up in ranks behind him. The family will receive friends at: Lee Funeral Home 6633 Old Alexandria Ferry Road, Clinton, Maryland 20735 on Friday, March 4, 2022 starting from 10:30 am until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 pm.
