Christina Florence Webb

Christina Florence Webb, 87, of Camp Springs, MD pass away with family by her side October 2, 2023.

Christina was born August 3, 1936 in Washington, DC to late William and Florence Wilson. 

She worked as a Computer Specialists/Systems Analyst for the Systems Development Directorate retiring from Naval ComStation Washington. (Navy Yard). She worked as a Computer Analyst for the Department of Navy from 1954-1994. (40 years). Her coworkers fondly remember her as an incredibly hard worker, often managing several projects at one time. She was generous with her time, always offering to help with programming problems or any needs at work. She defined generosity, caring for coworkers as families, even during their final days. She was the most generous person anyone will ever know. As a mother, she sacrificed her own needs to ensure that all four of her children never had any concerns. As a single parent, in an era that this was rare, Christina was able to instill faith and confidence for her children.

In addition to her parents, Christina was preceded in death by William H. Wilson (twin brother), Shawn M. Webb (eldest son)

She is survived by her 3 children, Thomas W. Webb (Cornelia Jerman-Webb), Kevin K. Webb (Michelle Webb), Amy B. Webb (Keith Cespon) 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. 

A visitation will be held 1:00-3:00pm Sunday October 8, 2023 at Lee Funeral Home, 6633 Old Alexander Ferry Rd. Clinton, MD 20735 where a prayer service will take place from 1:45 pm - 2:00 pm. 

A funeral mass will be held on Sunday November 12, 2023 from 1:30pm - 2:30 pm followed by a gathering. @ St. Philip the Apostle Church 5416 Henderson Way Camp Springs, MD 20746.
