Christine Viola Bennett

Christine Viola (Grant) Bennett, 86,  of Upper Marlboro, Maryland was born in Montego Bay, Jamaica, W.I. on February  12th, 1936 was the cherished daughter of Estelle (Hall) Grant and John D. Grant, beloved wife of the late Lennox F. Brown, treasured mother of Paulette D. Brown and Ian F. Brown, loving grandma of Jeffrey J. Lee II,  dedicated sister, aunt, and dearest friend to many, surrounded by her family left to go on the most revered journey to Our Father and Lord in heaven on October 25th, 2022.  Christine led a life caring for those far and wide through her work as a registered nurse both in the U.S. and Canada.   She touched the life of so many and left in her wake uplifting thoughts and  prayers for success and joy for life.   She had a fierce passion for children, animals, and her garden.  And speaking of animals...do not call her grand furbaby a dog he was Eragon!  As a mother she was simply AMAZING.  As a wife, daughter, aunt, friend she was THE MOST.  Simple was her life,  exceptional was her work, divine was her faith, and FABULOUS was her love and her spirit.   She was small in size but gigantic in the way she touched the hearts of all those who were blessed to have known her.   We love you and carry you in our hearts forever.  It's not goodbye...but so long.
