Christine Marie Mitchell

Christine Marie [Kidwell] Mitchell passed on August 8, 2021. Born on September 1, 1957 in Cheverly, MD, she was the daughter of the late Mary Frances [Vermillion] Kidwell Lusby and John Lawrence Kidwell and stepfather, the late Christopher C. Lusby. Although, she got her greatest enjoyment from spending time with her nieces and nephews, Christine enjoyed playing bingo and helping her husband William “Bill” restore classic cars. She was also a huge fan of Elvis. She is preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, beloved husband William “Bill” Mitchell, and her sister Lisa Ann [Lusby] Riggleman. Mourning her passing are her loving sisters; Mary Ann Estes (Gary), Linda Mae Fair (Ronald) and Robin Stansell (Pete). Christine did not have any children of her own, but she leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. The family will receive friends at Lee Funeral Home Calvert, 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736 on August 12, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 10:00 am in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Road, Clinton, MD 20735.
