Clyde Shade Billman

Clyde passed away at the age of 87 at his home in Upper Marlboro, Maryland surrounded by his loving family. Born in Shamokin, PA he was the son of the late Verdon F. and Edna I (Shade) Billman. He was the beloved husband of the Late Rosie Marie Billman. They celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary in September 2013. Clyde served in the US Navy from 1945-1946; he was a member of the Lions Club, American Legion and past President and board member of Melwood. Clyde enjoyed boating and fishing on the Chesapeake Bay. He enjoyed trips to Hawaii and traveling up and down the east coast with friends and family. He also enjoyed collecting antique tools, working in his yard tending to his many beds of azaleas with his dog Buddy. Clyde is survived by two sisters, Ida (the late Ken) Vestal, Susanne (Bill) Austin, three children, Dennis (Barbara) Billman, Donna (Allen) Stevenson and David ( Belinda) Billman and the late Donald Alan Billman.
