The beloved husband of Darleen Burgess; loving son of Anna Compton Burgess and the late Alton Burgess; devoted father of Holly (Brad) Pyle and the late Robert Burgess; grandfather of Zachery, Suzanne, Emma-Rae and Samuel; and brother of June Readen, Janet Thompson and Laurie Wolfe.
