Daniel Todd Faust of Upper Marlboro lovingly known as Dan to friends and family, grew up in the local area and attended Gwynn Park High and then joined the Marines. He saw action in Grenada and Beirut. Upon leaving the Marines he worked various jobs before becoming self-employed as a master carpenter and all around jack –of-all trades. He loved his family, fishing, baseball, Steelers football and spending time with his friends. He had a generous heart, which won him a multitude of friends. We will miss his infectious laugh and loving demeanor. Dan is survived by his parents, Evelyn and Donald Faust, of Upper Marlboro MD; daughter, Sarah (Phillip) Farrell, grandchildren, Evan, Shyanne and Connor; sisters Cheryl (Matt) Hokanson and Monika Barilla, and nieces Marisa and Miranda Barilla, Lyndse and Olivia Hokanson and one nephew Casey Shea. He also leaves many aunts and uncles. A Memorial Mass will be offered at 10:30 a.m. on Friday January 3rd 2020 at St.Johns the Evangelist Catholic Church, 8908 Old Branch Ave. Clinton, MD. All are welcome to join the family for light refreshments in the church hall immediately following. There will also be a celebration of his life on Saturday January 4th from 2:00-6:00 PM at the American Legion Post 227 located at 13505 Cherry Tree Crossing Rd, Brandywine, MD 20613.
