Mr. Daniel Louis Lagana Sr.

Daniel “Bear” L. Lagana, Sr., 66, Passed away in his sleep at home on Sunday, July 19, 2015 in Clinton, Maryland. He was born November 19, 1948 to Daniel and Echolene (Johnson) Lagana in Cheverly, Maryland. On May 23, 1969 he married Patricia “Patsy” Snyder in Maryland. Bear enjoyed his family, friends, classic cars, crabbing, fishing and oldies music. Survivors include his wife Patricia “Patsy”; his 2 children, Daniel L. Lagana, Jr. (Kimberlie Ann) and Kelly Jean Lewis (Ronald) of Maryland; 5 grandchildren Taylor Ann Lagana, Haley Rae Lagana, Daniel Nicholas Lagana, Daniel E. Lewis III and KeyAira A’Lice Gains; 3 sisters Linda Ball (Ronnie) of Maryland, Angela Jones (Chuck) of Maryland, and Marie Stamp of Maryland; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Echolene and Daniel Lagana, 1 brother Anthony “Tony” Lagana and 1 brother in-law Lindy Stamp. Family will receive friends for Bear’s life celebration at the Lee Funeral Home, Inc. 6633 Alexandria Ferry Road, Clinton, MD on Thursday, July 30, 2015 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm and 6:00pm – 8:00pm. Services will be held at the funeral home Chapel on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 1:00pm with Father Thomas Gude officiating. Interment following at Resurrection Cemetery.
